Melaka, where independence started & colonization ended

Since Malacca has been colonized on August 24, 1511, independence was achieved through a variety of ways and throughout a long path. In that period, various events and obstacles faced, but due to the cooperation received, finally Tanah Melayu achieved its own independence. Tunku Abdul Rahman has shouted 'INDEPENDENCE' seven times, together with the crowd at Independence Stadium on 30 August 1957. For information, the date of independence was declared in Melaka as there is where the famous history of the Malay kingdom and glory started. Here, little bit about the journey to get independence, where it started in London and ended in Malacca.

In conclusion, the day that Tunku Abdul Rahman announced 'INDEPENDENCE', should be remembered by us all, as a sign of appreciation to whom who contributed though we are not born in that era.
